Cambodia Vows to Make Coastal Cities Strategic for Tourism Development

Sihanoukville: The Prime Minister of Cambodia, Hun Sen, said that Cambodia is wise to maintain its membership of the world most beautiful beach and all four coastal provinces of Cambodia must maintain their belts and reputation as members of the Clean Beach Club.

Speaking at the 16th World Congress of the Most Beautiful Bays in the World Club on the morning of December 10, 2022 in Sihanoukville, On the morning of December 10, 2022 in Sihanoukville, PM Hun Sen said that the four coastal provinces of Cambodia. Sihanoukville, Kep, Kampot and Koh Kong provinces will be designated as strategic provinces for tourism development.

According to PM, Sihanoukville will become a tourist destination and a multi-purpose economic zone. Kep is a high-end and luxury tourist destination, Kampot is a destination for cultural and agro-tourism, while Koh Kong is a world-class eco-tourism destination.

The most beautiful beach club in the world has selected Cambodia for the opening of the 16th General Assembly of its meeting in 2022, while Cambodia is also preparing for the Sea Festival, which will open on the evening of December 10, 2022 as well.
